Any vacation homes, cottages, B&B etc. located in VDA areas will be granted vacation rental permits as conforming uses. Visitor Destination areas are those areas of Poipu, Lihue, Wailua-Kapaa, and Princeville designated as Visitor Destination Areas or located within Time Share Boundaries on County of Kauai Zoning maps. (Normally very close to the beach).
Because vacation home owners in VDA areas will not be affected by Bill 2204 the annual membership dues are calculated by property rather then bedroom, and are $100 per property per annum. Membership Membership Benefits
